eLearning Course Development
The t-LMS offers a robust HTML eLearning authoring tool. We can develop new or convert existing material into eLearning that is intended for pure digital delivery or for use in a blended learning process. We can rapidly convert material from MS Word, PowerPoint or PDF formats into eLearning courses.
OUR SERVICE OFFERING:
- Analysing existing material and recommending how it can be adapted to eLearning or a blended learning approach.
- Analysing new material and designing a cost-effective development and delivery approach. Usually, since we are not subject matter experts in all knowledge domains, we will need to collaborate with a your recommended subject expert(s).
- Developing eye-catching and well structured content for delivery via the t-LMS.
- Integrating images, audio and video into eLearning material (We do not actually develop the images, audio and video but we will assist in the design and scripting thereof.)
This service requires you to sign up for the "Learnership Administration Service" or the "t-LMS as a service" as described elsewhere on this page.
COST:
The cost of the eLearning Course Development Service varies depending on the scope of the work, the complexity of the eLearning requirements and the delivery options you need.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
THE NEED:
All too often training needs are identified in a haphazard and subjective way - often on the whim of the staffmember or manager. This can be a costly waste of money when the wrong needs are identified, or worse, when training is recommended but a gap in knowledge and skill is not the underlying problem. The t-LMS can be used to identify training needs objectively.
Competency assessments differ from qualification assessments in that they are based on an analysis of occupation-specific competencies, whereas qualification assessment is based on learning outcomes. Competency assessments are centred around OFO Occupations (an international framework for organising occupations).
Clearly there should be an intersection of knowledge and skill between competency and qualification assessments, but competency assessment allow for:
- Assessments that are better targeted at the heart of what employees need to be competent in to succeed in their SPECIFIC jobs.
- Continuous re-assessment to establish changes in overall organisation-wide competence as a result of employee movements in and out of the organisation.
- Training interventions that are targeted at an organisation's specific needs, especially systems, processes and in-house knowledge.
- Assessment for recruitment and selection or succession planning purposes.
- Identification of training needs when compiling the organisation's Workplace Skills Plan - WSP.
- The collection of empirical training needs for use the organisation's performance management process.
OUR SERVICE OFFERING:
- Provision of the t-LMS.
- Managing TNA projects.
- Advice and support with conducting competency analyses.
- Data capturing of competencies, assessment questions, configuring competency profiles and setting up assessment instances (tests).
- Provision of reports for individuals or rolled up reports for groups based on your organisation structure.
CORE BENEFITS:
- Once the competency framework has been set up (this can be time consuming), the t-LMS offers a quick and flexible method to identify competence levels throughout your organisation.
- Ensure that training is directly tailored to the learning needs of the organisation, its systems and processes and so reduce wasteful expenditure on "nice to have" training.
- Automatically feed training needs information directly into your WSP and performance management process.
- Obtain objective data on training needs rather than peoples' gut feel on what training they need.
- The reusable databank of assessment questions can be deployed rapidly and as frequently as needed.
- Obtain objective competency level information for job applicants.
COST:
The cost of the Training Needs Analysis Service will vary depending on the extent of our involvement.
